Wine and Dine
In the warmer months, dine alfresco on our canal side patio, home to mallards, moorhens and the occasional Heron, or warm up next to a roaring log fire in winter.
Good wholesome food is served at lunchtime and in the evening ;keep an eye out for our foodie-themed evenings and our specials board for something a little out of the ordinary!
There is also a children's play area, at the end of our garden, for our younger patrons.
We can guarantee that when you visit the Bridge, a warm welcome, delicious homemade food and a well kept Wadworth's pint awaits you.

The pub has five, 24hr visitor moorings for you to relax after a hard days cruising and enjoy delicious food and, well earned, drink.
History
Built about 1800, the buildings that are now 'The Bridge Inn' were originally a busy family run farm. When the Kennet and Avon Canal was opened in 1810, the premises were extended to accommodate a flour mill and bakery and used wheat transported by working barges along this new link between the rivers Thames in the east and Avon in the West. One wall of the outbuildings still shows evidence of where the bread ovens and chimney were situated.
The Bridge also has a resident Ghost, Jane an ex-Landlady from the 19th Century (Haunted Wiltshire)
